Pentecost

God’s third Feast is the Feast of Firstfruits or Pentecost (meaning count 50), as it was counted 50 days from the morrow of the first Holy Day of Unleavened Bread (Lev.23:14-15). This was the day God gave His law (Ex.19), and the day He poured out His Holy Spirit (Acts 2), which writes His laws on our hearts (Ezek.36:27, Heb.10:15-16). Pentecost is also the day He founded His church (Acts 2). Paul also kept Pentecost (Acts 20:16) and he taught the church to keep it (1 Cor.16:8). (Much more is coming on the meaning of Pentecost and how it is counted very soon – so check back.)
